About the Author
A Life Guided by Silence, Reflection, and Storytelling
Born on 27 May 1967 in the beautiful Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, Atul Naithani spent his childhood amidst the peaceful towns of Dugadda and Pauri. The mist-covered hills, rain-soaked forest trails, towering deodar trees, and simple mountain traditions quietly shaped the poetic spirit that would later find expression through his writing.
His professional journey took him across India and overseas, offering experiences of achievement, challenge, and personal transformation. While life presented success in the outer world, it also revealed deeper truths through moments of struggle, silence, and self-reflection.
Over time, Atul realized that lasting fulfillment is not found in worldly accomplishments but in discovering the stillness that exists within every human being. Today, he describes this stage of life as the “season of seasoned wisdom”—a time devoted to contemplation, creativity, and sharing life’s deeper insights.
His debut poetry collection, Astitva Ke Paar – Ek Pathik Ki Aatma Yatra, emerged from years of inner exploration, while Dugadda Ki Dantkathaen – Folktales from the Mountains reflects his heartfelt commitment to preserving the cultural heritage and oral traditions of his homeland.
Through every page he writes, Atul invites readers to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with themselves, with nature, and with timeless human values.
